The concept always included watercolor backgrounds and rotoscoped, realistic live-action “animation.” The initial look explored a more abstract splash of watercolor that hinted at the grass and sky of the park. We ultimately used more detailed backgrounds to show the transitions between environments with more clarity and contrast.
